This year, we are proud to participate as an official collection site for the Realities For Children Back-To-School Collection, helping gather school supplies for local children throughout Northern Colorado.
For many students, the start of a new school year is exciting. New teachers, new opportunities, and a fresh start.Unfortunately, for many children facing difficult circumstances, access to basic school supplies is not always guaranteed.Something as simple as a backpack, notebook, pencils, or folders can become a challenge for families already navigating hardship.The Realities For Children Back-To-School Collection helps bridge that gap by providing essential supplies to local children who have been abused, neglected, or are considered at risk.By supporting this program, community members can help students begin the school year with the tools they need to learn, participate, and succeed.
The 2026 Back-To-School Collection runs from June 10 through July 22 and supports local youth throughout our community. Donations collected through participating businesses and organizations are distributed to children in need before the school year begins.
As a participating collection site, TSP will have a donation bin available for community members who would like to contribute school supplies throughout the collection period.
While all new school supplies are appreciated, several items are currently in especially high demand, including:
• New 17" backpacks
• Wide tipped markers
• Thin tipped markers
• Colored pencils
• Pocket folders
• Wide ruled spiral notebooks
• Wide ruled composition notebooks
• College ruled spiral notebooks
• College ruled composition notebooks
Additional needed items include pencils, highlighters, glue sticks, scissors, binders, dry erase markers, pencil bags, and basic wired headphones.
We are honored to support the Realities For Children Back-To-School Collection and encourage others in our community to get involved.
If you would like to participate, stop by TSP during the collection period and drop off new school supplies in our collection bin.
Together, we can help local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Every contribution helps support children who may otherwise begin the school year without the resources they need.
Community involvement does not always require a large donation. Sometimes it starts with a backpack, a notebook, or a few packs of pencils.
